Depression - a Disease of the 21st Century

The problem is that depression can be difficult to overcome because there are many different ways it can come into manifestation.

People generally see physical symptoms they may have, such as high blood pressure, heaviness in their chest, IBS, bloating, nausea, and constipation, as having nothing to do with their depression.

However, the health of the body and mind are not separate from each other.

Both the mind AND body must be healthy to successfully overcome and prevent depression.

There are many myths out there about depression. It is rarely looked at comprehensively from all angles and in great detail “under the microscope.”

This is why there are so many numb, unhappy people who are suffering.

It is not just those with depression that are suffering either.

Those suffering directly from depression are interacting with other people, so children and other loved ones are affected indirectly from it.
According to studies conducted annually all over the world, depression affects about 20% of the population in developed countries. Similar to cardiovascular disease, depression can be found in millions of people.
